The BMW X6 is a luxury-class SUV coupé from the car manufacturer BMW and has been in production since 2008. The third generation, the BMW X6 G06, is currently on the market. BMW itself describes the X6 as an SAC "Sports Activity Coupé" and thus describes an impressive and sporty coupé on an SUV basis. Initially, the BMW X6 was viewed very critically and many critics considered it impossible for this vehicle concept to remain on the market for long. In the meantime, however, the BMW X6 is regarded as a pioneer in the SUV coupé vehicle class and other renowned vehicle manufacturers have followed suit. The registration and sales figures of the BMW X6 were a resounding success and at times better than those of any other BMW model.
