Iconic design and tradition: the success story of the Porsche 911

The Porsche 911 is the sports car and sports coupé from Porsche. Its iconic design has made it probably the best-known car from the Stuttgart-based company. Even internationally, the 911 is probably the best-known sports car in the world and the epitome of the Porsche brand.

The iconic sports car was officially presented for the first time at the IAA in Frankfurt in September 1963, when it was primarily known as the successor to the Porsche 356. Over the years, there have always been small adjustments to the design line, later aerodynamics were added as an influence due to the further development of the new model series.
