The Mini as an innovative small car from England

The Mini once made the small car socially acceptable, and even established it. The first Mini rolled off the production line in Birmingham in 1959. The extremely small and economical Mini was developed by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), which emerged from the merger of the Morris Motor Company with the Austin Motor Company.
