From 2007 to 2015, Audi produced the A4 in its fourth generation, internally called the B8. Although the B8 has since been replaced by the Audi A4 B9 as the successor model, its legacy can still be seen on the roads of the Republic. The Audi A4 B8 was initially delivered as an Audi A4 sedan, later joined by the Audi A4 station wagon, known as the Audi A4 Avant, and the fourth-generation Audi A4 Allrad Quattro. Very popular with families is especially one feature of the Audi A4 Avant: Trunk volume. There was no longer an Audi A4 Cabrio from this point on, as this feature was now taken over by the A5 Cabrio.
Finesse and safety in the Audi A4 B8
In keeping with its own motto, Audi has always been able to make a name for itself with advanced technologies. This is also the case with the Audi B8, where several technical improvements have been achieved thanks to the new longitudinal modular system. On the one hand, the weight has been better distributed, which has increased driving dynamics. At the same time, the wheelbase was increased by 160 mm, while flow resistance was reduced to 0.27. The body was also optimized in numerous ways. The body also received numerous optimizations to improve safety. Driver assistance systems such as a lane departure warning system, lane change assistant and adaptive cruise control were also installed in the Audi A4 B8 for the first time. All in all, the Audi A4 B8 is therefore not merely a barely modified version of the Audi A4 B7, but a genuine further development with the highest level of technical finesse.
The Audi A4 B8 rims: 19 inches to 16 inches
Like all Audi A4 rims, the Audi A4 B8 rims are available in different sizes. The size depends mainly on the basic equipment package in which the Audi A4 B8 was sold. In the Attraction package, the rims of the vehicles with 4 cylinders are 16 inches in size, and with 6 cylinders they are 17 inches. The Ambition package includes rims with 17 inch size as standard. However, subsequent facelifts mean that rims with diameters of up to 19 inches are also possible. Audi A4 rims 18 inches form the stable middle ground here. Due to the similar design, the tires of the Audi A4 B8 also fit the Audi S4 B8, and the same applies to the Audi A4 B8 Avant.
The fact that these technical masterpieces can drive safely is mainly due to the properties of the original Audi tires.
