The Porsche 911 is the sports car or sports coupe from Porsche. Its iconic design has made it probably the best-known car from the Stuttgart-based company. Even internationally, the 911 is probably the best-known sports car in the world and the epitome of the Porsche brand.
The sports car icon was officially presented for the first time at the IAA in Frankfurt in September 1963, when it was best known as the successor to the Porsche 356.
